An iPhone app that brings you one painting a day from the world's great museums, with the story behind it: who made it, what was going on, and what to look for. You can browse by movement or artist, and save the ones you love to your Library.

Each day has its own painting, chosen in advance. Open the app any time that day to see it. Pull down on Today to refresh.

Yes. Scroll down on Today to go back through recent days. There's no streak to lose.

Tap the circle in the top right of Today to open Settings, where you can choose the time or switch the reminder off. If you said no when YEUX first asked, you can turn notifications on in your iPhone's Settings, then YEUX.

Touch and hold an empty part of your Home Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and search for YEUX. It comes in small and medium sizes. Open the app once first so the widget has today's painting.

Every artwork is in the public domain, from the open-access collections of the Art Institute of Chicago, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Rijksmuseum, the Smithsonian American Art Museum and SMK, the National Gallery of Denmark. Each one is credited to its museum, with a link to the museum's own page.

Very little. You don't need an account. If you make one, we hold your full name, your email and the paintings you save, so your Library follows you between phones. The app never asks for your location. It also counts taps anonymously, never linked to your account, and you can switch that off in Settings, then Privacy. The full detail is in our privacy policy.

In the app, go to Settings, then Account, then "Delete account". It removes your name, email and saved paintings straight away and can't be undone. If you can't get into the app, email support@yeuxdaily.art from the address on your account and we'll do it for you.

Check your spam or junk folder first: the email comes from hello@yeuxdaily.art. Codes can take a minute to arrive, and "Resend code" unlocks after 30 seconds. Still nothing? Email support@yeuxdaily.art.

In Settings, tap Reset YEUX. This clears your saved paintings from your phone and signs you out, and keeps your reminder setting as it is. Your account and its Library are kept; to remove those, delete your account. Deleting the app clears everything.
